Material Covered
The following material is what is generally accepted as the most fundamental skills of the Bujinkan. These kihon (basic) skills are taught in pretty much every dojo, so time spent with the Richmond Kihon Shibu should prepare one for training at any Bujinkan dojo. Some items and/or names may vary between different dojo but the movements should be the same or similar.
Of course some things may be taught or shown that are not common.

4. The month’s topic with Level 1 and 2 uke’s to learn the techniques with applicable taisabaki and atemi for the topic.
5. Applying the structure exercises to the month’s topic with Level 1 and 2 uke’s.
6. The month’s topic with Level 3 and 4 uke’s to apply the techniques and structure exercises.
7. Randori.
Not every class will have all seven of these pieces. The participants of the class will determine how many of these we do. And as with any journey we may venture off the path at times.
